Terms of Service

These terms apply when you buy or use PairCipher, operated by Yana Kalashnykova, a sole proprietorship registered in Poland, NIP 5273097461. By using PairCipher you agree to them.

What you get

• Each purchase is a one-time payment for one pair (two phones) or one private diary. There is no subscription.
• Your partner joins with your invite and doesn't need to pay.
• You can set up a purchase again with the link from your purchase email up to 3 times in 30 days (for example, after losing a phone).

Your keys and password

Your secret keys exist only on your phones. We can't see, reset or recover them. If you forget your password and don't have your recovery code, or you lose your phone, messages made with the old key can't be read anymore. You can set up a new pair for new messages. Keep your password and recovery code safe.

Acceptable use

Use PairCipher only lawfully. Don't use it to harass, threaten or harm others, or to break the law. Don't try to disrupt the service or abuse purchase activations.

Our service

We work hard to keep PairCipher reliable and private and use well-established encryption built into your phone's browser. Still, no technology can promise perfect security, and your privacy also depends on your phone, its software and how you keep your password. The service is provided “as is” to the extent allowed by law.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to PairCipher is limited to the amount you paid for the purchase. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
